The Holland provides Logan County K-12 students with free arts education programs that engage and inspire, support school curriculum, encourage creativity and creative thinking, introduce careers, and provide hands-on training.

We strive to reach students with limited access to the arts, including those from low-income families, at-risk youth, and students with autism/developmental delays.

Student Matinees

Windmill Productions team with the Holland to provide free matinees for students. For some, it’s an essential introduction to the theater, performing arts, and a once-a-year opportunity to experience a live performance. Different, age-appropriate art forms are presented at different levels.

Masterclasses with Holland Presents Artists

Students have an opportunity to learn directly from professional musicians, actors, and performers in classes led by Holland Presents artists. Masterclasses take place in local schools or here at the Holland, with activities such as skills workshops, discussions, and performances.

Student Performances

Our goal is to provide as many students as possible, an opportunity to perform on the Holland stage, where they can experience the thrill of singing, dancing, acting and creating music in a professional theater. The Holland provides free theater space and technical services for the annual Logan County Music & Art Festival in the spring each year — a showcase of musical and visual art in our county schools.
