Since 2010, Windmill Productions has been creating performance opportunities for local actors and musicians of all ages. The community theater company usually offers an annual children’s theater workshop, a junior musical for middle school-age students, a full-length musical, and smaller plays and musical productions throughout the year.
Windmill Productions announces auditions for Farenheit 451! Based on the 1953 classic novel by Ray Bradbury, Farenheit 451 is set in a dystopian future where “firemen” burn books and conformity is brutally enforced. While screens keep most people passive and entertained, one man will risk everything for freedom. The play includes five male and five female main parts, plus 12 “book people” with small roles. High school juniors and up are invited to audition. Auditions will consist of reading from the script.
